To continue our trajectory of growth and triumph, we are thrilled to present a dynamic sales and operations professional with an exciting opportunity to join our team based in Sydney.About the Role :Floral Image Sydney is seeking an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to join our team.
This is a full-time role, with responsibilities for our Sydney, Central Coast & Newcastle, and Perth businesses.
Some travel is required to all of these locations.
As the Sales & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading all team members to execute our sales strategy, whilst overseeing daily operations and driving continuous improvement across the business.This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of B2B sales processes, and a passion for operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will be able to balance the achievement of sales and service objectives with the operational demands of the business, fostering strong relationships with customers while managing internal teams to deliver exceptional service.Key Responsibilities :Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market penetration.Work with Sales teams to develop daily sales activities, considering both geography, industry, and market opportunities.Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.Manage and track sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.Utilise system tools (Salesforce, Synergy, Reveal GPS tracking) to monitor activity and ensure full productivity.Provide regular sales and operational reports and forecasts to senior management.Oversee day-to-day operations of the service delivery (monthly refreshes), ensuring alignment with client expectations and business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounts, IT, Head Office) to streamline operational processes and improve service delivery.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and operational efficiency.Ensure proper resource allocation and effective operational management to meet service (refresh) requirements.Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure those are being met through service delivery.Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales and operations professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance and skill sets.Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Promote a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.About You :Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and operations management, preferably in a B2B service environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.Proficient in using sales and operations management software and tools.Thorough understanding of sales strategies, customer relationship management, and operational best practices.Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement and implementing change management initiatives.Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational efficiency.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Have a current and valid Driver's License.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Why join the team at Floral Image?Be part of a fun and collaborative team that values teamwork and cooperation.Enjoy an additional 2 weeks of annual leave per year (6 weeks in total).Competitive salary package, including an attractive base salary with enticing incentives.All the necessary tools of the trade will be provided, including a branded company vehicle, phone, computer, uniform, and sales tools.About usFloral Image is a leading provider of high-quality designer floral arrangements.
