We are currently looking for inspiring Supervisors to join the Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) team at Rio Tinto's Brockman 4 Operations.
In this role you will provide leadership to your team and actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, with the aim of driving consistent performance, and innovation in relation to safety, cost, and production.
These opportunities are perfectly suited to enthusiastic individuals who are seeking a rewarding frontline leadership role, working with a great team to maintain heavy mobile equipment.
You'll work 8 days on; 6 days off / 7 nights on; 7 nights off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Superintendent MEM your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
Being an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices, and processes Providing safety and technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to your team of trade and non-trade personnel, understanding their strengths in work to ensure that safety is first and that the correct work is completed Completing daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture Allocating and coordinating planned maintenance activities using the Rio Tinto workflow management principles Prioritising and managing breakdowns with the mine production team Driving continuous improvement projects circulating around cost saving and production efficiency What You'll Bring
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset Ability to execute work in alignment with Rio Tinto values (Care, Courage and Curiosity) and behaviours Leadership experience with a passion for leading, developing, and coaching team members Relevant Trade Qualification or working knowledge of HME equipment, breakdown management experience is highly recognised, preferably CAT equipment Computer literacy and proficiency in the suite of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word A current Australian manual (C Class) driver's license If you are excited about this role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100% we still want to hear from you.

Brockman 4 Operations is located on the lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura and Muntulgura Guruma Peoples in the eastern Pilbara, approximately 60 kilometres from Tom Price.
Originally part of Greater Brockman, operations began in 2010 for the Brockman 4 deposit.
Brockman 4 moves approximately 150 million tonnes of material per year.
There are 3 villages that are part of the operations, Brockman 4, West Pilbara and Nammuldi Village.
With a FIFO workforce of around 850, our team commutes from Perth, Geraldton, Albany and Busselton.
