The successful candidate will be employed on a full time basis joining our support team.
Duties will vary but you can expect to spend time across the following:
Document management (organisation and filing on electronic files)Management of billing process, including e-billingEntering disbursements and sundry accounts (Affinity, however transitioning to Elite3E in 2024)Client reportingDrafting court documents, court filing, arranging service of documentsArranging couriersCompiling e-briefs to counsel and other expertsWord processingDrafting, editing and despatching lettersDrafting and submitting relevant Medicare / Centrelink formsArranging medical appointmentsOpening and closing filesDesired Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have at least 3+ years' experience in a legal administrative position with exposure to litigation, ideally supporting an insurance team.
You'll have strong MS Office proficiency, impeccable organisation and self-management skills, and at least 60 wpm accurate typing skills.
