This focus on client value is a key reason for our success.The role:We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, full-time or part-time legal secretary to join our Dispute Resolution team in Perth.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, capable and motivated to work autonomously within a successful team.Responsibilities:liaising with clients and staffdrafting, editing and collating of legal documentspreparing correspondence such as emails, letters and internal memosbillingdiary managementopening, maintaining and closing electronic filesRequirements of the role:be flexible and adaptable, proactive and comfortable working unsupervisedhave a positive attitude and the ability to manage the workflow of multiple fee earnershave intermediate to advanced computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Powerpoint, working knowledge of Excel, and a typing speed of 60+ wpmhave strong verbal and written communication skillshave experience using document management and billing systems (such as FileSite and Aderant Expert, or similar)have strong organisational and file management skillshave a minimum of two years' experience as a Legal SecretaryWhat we offer:At Thomson Geer, we offer increased meaning in work for support roles.
