Retail Manager

Spring Professional have an exciting opportunity available as Retail Manager for a large shopping centre in Melbourne.
This large and bustling shopping centre in Melbourne's North has a strong community focus, huge food and dining precincts and a wide array of international lifestyle brands, home wares and major stores.
This opportunity is working alongside a large team existing centre team.
Key responsibilities of the position:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and business plans for the assetImplementation of the retailer engagement strategyCritical retailer management including debtorsRelationship and operational management of retailersAssessing the performance of retailers and identifying opportunities to improve sales levelsMaintaining positive relations with retailers, customers, suppliers, local government and other important stakeholdersEnsure efficient collection of monthly retailer sales figures and coordinate the preparation of monthly sales reportsMeet with retailers on a regular basis to discuss marketing requirements for their businessIdeal candidate:
Experience in a similar role - shopping centre asset managementExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent relationship management skillsStrong negotiation skillsInitiative, professionalism & persistenceThis is an incredible 'foot in the door' opportunity with an industry leader who own and operate a large number of centres across Australia.
