What you'll do:
As an R&D Tax Graduate at RSM, you will have the opportunity to develop fundamental tax knowledge and skills, analyse financial statements/data and technical reports, prepare R&D tax submissions, write taxation advice, and much more
What does the Research & Development division do?
The R&D Tax team is rapidly growing, utilising a wide range of disciplines and skills (science, engineering, accounting, law); High proportion of client-facing time and interaction; Preparation of advice to clients on government incentives for technology innovations; Preparation of applications for government grants; Preparation of R&D Registrations that identify and detail the scope of R&D projects and R&D activities; Understand and apply R&D tax legislation and other areas of the Income Tax Act and other relevant legislation; Analysis of financial reports and underlying data to prepare R&D expenditure calculations; Undertake various administrative tasks such as file preparation, risk assessments, billing, and communication.
