Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:At Optus, we have an ambitious goal to be Australia's most loved everyday brand.The Senior Engineer will provide comprehensive design, solution build/implementation, scoping and technical support as well as assisting and complementing the mid to junior level engineers in a mentoring and technical capacity.Your day in the life of a Senior Engineer at OptusUndertaking system analysis, technical design, implementation and maintenance of solutions applied to customer infrastructure incorporating technologies such as network, IP Telephony, security, systems, storage and wireless solutions as applicable to the role.Assist with the review of the technical solutions and effort estimates needed for RFPs/Proposals.Ensure compliance with Engineering Design, Build Methodology and Project Management Quality Systems, Key Business Processes.Provide technical support to clients through dealing with complex service queries and problems with clients' systems related to above technologies, as applicable.Your skills to pay the billsExtensive technical experience in design, installation and support delivery of medium and networking, wireless and firewall security.
