As the Head of Data Engineering, you will be instrumental in the delivery of data assets that support data-driven insights and data science initiatives influencing HBF in making sound, data-driven decisions.
Reporting to the General Manager Data & Analytics, you will lead the Data Engineering function as well as maintaining the Snowflake data platform and Tableau BI Platform which underpin the Data & Analytics service offering, ensuring the production of accurate and relevant data to drive business decision making and outcomes.
About You: A seasoned leader, you are experienced in building high-performing teams of technical experts while guiding and mentoring to achieve team objectives.
You are confident in communicating and sharing findings with senior leaders and build genuine stakeholder relationships with ease.
You have extensive experience in data engineering including data lakes and data warehouses using cloud-based tools as well as experience in designing, documenting, and deploying customer-focused processes and procedures.
You will also have experience in: Overseeing the maintenance and operations of Data Platforms including infrastructure and data pipelinesDesigning, documenting, and deploying customer-focused processes and proceduresIdentifying the future data capabilities and the roles, skills, and technologies required to provide these servicesKnowledge of the Health insurance Industry and experience with AWS, DBT, Snowflake, and Tableau is desirableHow to Apply: To apply, please click on the "Apply for this job" button attaching a copy of your recent CV that details how your skills and experience meet the requirements of this role.
