We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking organisation, seeking a talented Head of Engineering to drive their engineering transformation, foster innovation, and lead their teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

What's the opportunity? The Head of Engineering will play a pivotal role in leading engineering teams through a significant transition to a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration, fostering a culture of innovation, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that align with our client's long-term strategic goals.
About the role: As the Head of Engineering, you'll oversee the transition and drive technical excellence, ensuring efficient processes and effective collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
The key accountabilities include: Leadership and change management Lead and motivate engineering teams through organisational change and the MSP transition.Promote collaboration and alignment between internal and external stakeholders.Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.Build and strengthen relationships with the MSP, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritise projects and product delivery.Risk management and reporting Identify and mitigate risks related to product development and transition processes.Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership, ensuring informed decision-making.Driving innovation and future growth Develop and implement strategies to drive engineering excellence and adopt emerging technologies.Build capabilities for future challenges and ensure alignment with broader organisational goals.About you: We're looking for a results-oriented leader with a passion for driving innovation and building high-performing teams.
You'll bring: 10+ years' experience leading engineering teams in healthcare, digital, or related industries.Proven success managing transitions to third-party providers, ensuring seamless handovers and continuity.Expertise in compliance, data security, and agile engineering practices.Strong technical acumen and experience with modern technologies and methodologies.Exceptional leadership and communication skills to foster collaboration and deliver outcomes.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Master's degree or MBA.Our client offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a leadership role that shapes the future of engineering.
