Retail Sales Manager – Leading Home Furniture and Electrical RetailerAbout Us: We are a privately owned high-quality electrical and home goods retailer with 4 locations in Australia and have recently expanded into the Gold Coast. We are seeking a Retail Sales Manager eager to advance their career with a pathway to partnership.Why This Opportunity? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership over the management and growth of the store. You will be required to manage and drive the retail team in addition to becoming the face of the business within the local community, building relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs, associations, and local business networking groups to drive store engagement.About You: You are motivated to succeed and not afraid of working hard and long hours. You have a do-what-it-takes attitude and are always striving to be the best you can be. You are looking to take the next steps in your career and are hungry for the opportunity to make this project a success. You have the skills and ability to manage a sales team while driving team and customer engagement. You can seek out and develop new relationships within the local community and also think creatively when it comes to profitable relationships.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.Lead, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated sales professionals to achieve outstanding results.Drive customer experience initiatives to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.Seek out local business opportunities through participation in business networking opportunities, sporting clubs, and local interest groups.Implement sales strategies that align with company goals to achieve revenue targets.Foster a positive store culture that encourages team engagement and high performance.Analyse sales performance and customer feedback to continuously improve store operations.Ideal Candidate:A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, preferably within electrical, telecommunications, or high-end furnishings sectors.Have a large business network that you can leverage to create new opportunities.Proven track record of achieving sales outcomes and developing high-performing teams.Strong focus on team engagement, coaching, and professional development.Passionate about retail and dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience.Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Understand that this is not a typical 9-5 retail job but a position that requires outbound activity, relationship management, and work outside of the typical workday.Compensation and Benefits:Strong incentive program designed to reward performance.A clear pathway to potential partnership within the company.Join Us: If you are a driven leader with a passion for sales and a desire to make a lasting impact, we want to hear from you Apply now and take the next step in your career.
