THE WESTGOLD OFFER A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producerMarket competitive rate8/6 day shift, then 7/7 night shift roster, FIFO ex Perth or DIDO from surrounding areasResidential opportunities also available from Kambalda / KalgoorlieCamp with ensuite rooms, and an equipped gymA company that is growing and supports employee's developmentA RANGE OF BENEFITS INCLUDING Performance based bonusGroup salary continuous insuranceA health and wellness allowanceA range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoptionReferral Bonus - bring your mates along5 years' pro rata long service leaveSalary sacrifice options - novated leases, FIFO airport parking and othersEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) that includes free confidential counselling, wellbeing services that includes financial advice.THE ROLE Be organised and undertake all assigned tasks by the Shift SupervisorPossess excellent housekeeping standardsDelivery and pick up of equipment such as tools, piping, services, and anything else that is neededRemoval of waste items from Underground work areas to waste dumpsProvide ground support to Jumbo Operators and assist with general mining services and installation of ground supportAssist with all operations including offside operatorsBe familiar and comply with all Company Procedures, Guidelines and Work Methods applicable to your roleWHAT DO I NEED Experience working as a Nipper Operator in an underground environmentKnowledge of and experience with Underground Dump Trucks (or willingness to learn, training will be provided)Working at Heights certificate (desirable)Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & RegulationsExcellent communication skillsA can-do, team-oriented attitudeDesire to maintain a proactive safe working environmentCandidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance (or be able to obtain).
