THE WESTGOLD OFFER A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producerMarket competitive salaryA variety of rosters available to suit everyone - 7:7, 8:6 / 7:7, 2:1 or 2:2FIFO, DIDO and Residential employment opportunitiesCamp with ensuite rooms, sports courts and fully equipped gymsA company that is growing and supports employees' developmentA RANGE OF BENEFITS INCLUDING Performance based bonus with potential earnings valuing up to 15% of your combined salary plus superSite Allowance valued at $5000 or $10,000 per annum depending on your rosterGroup salary continuous insuranceA health and wellness allowance valued at $3000 per annumA range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoptionReferral Bonus - bring your mates along5 years' pro rata long service leaveSalary sacrifice options - novated leases, interstate flights and moreEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) that includes free confidential counselling and wellbeing services that includes financial advice.THE ROLE Operate machines to achieve the required loads per shift to maintain production levelsPossess excellent housekeeping standards to ensure machinery is kept clean and tidyMaintain awareness of location within the mine and ensure radio calls are maintained, resulting in a continual smooth truck cycleDelivery and pick up of equipment such as tools, piping, services, and anything else that is neededRemoval of waste items from underground work areas to waste dumpsProvide ground support to Jumbo Operators and assist with general mining services and installation of ground supportAssist with all operations including offside operatorsBe organised and undertake all assigned tasks by the Shift SupervisorBe familiar and comply with all Company Procedures, Guidelines and Work Methods applicable to your roleWHAT DO I NEED Minimum 12 months underground truck operating or nippering experience (essential)Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) (desirable)Knowledge and understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act & RegulationsA can-do, team-oriented attitudeDesire to maintain a proactive safe working environmentSolid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptableCandidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance (or be able to obtain).
