The Humm-group currently has several exciting opportunities for 3 QA Engineers. You will gain exposure to our suite of products and work with a team of like-minded and hard-working individuals that enjoy and have pride in what they do. Your career path could be varied, perhaps moving into our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role, or perhaps getting experience in one of our other disciplines, such as Business Analysis, Development or Agile Practice.What Does An Average Day Look Like?No day is average at humm but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:Develop, maintain, and review manual and automation test plans, suites, and scripts.Conduct testing and QA activities on mobile apps, web solutions, APIs, and business applications.Contribute to building and improving test automation frameworks and artifacts.Provide test coverage across the product ecosystem.Review business requirements and solution designs.Identify and manage the defect lifecycle and coordinate with stakeholders on resolutions.Define and execute performance testing and other non-functional aspects.Active involvement in adopting and improving Agile and QA best practices.Who will thrive in this role?You are someone who believes in the strength of good relationships with a positive attitude and Agile mindset. You are flexible, driven, and passionate about customers; you can operate in and contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and you bring excellent multi-tasking skills and a focus on delivering outcomes as part of a cohesive team.You will be someone who is an:Expert in testing Web UI, mobile apps, APIs, complex web solutions, and cloud applications.Expert in automation testing and open-source tools (i.e. Karate, Selenium, Appium, etc).Proficient in at least one programming language (i.e. Java, C#, Groovy, etc).Experienced in database management and SQL scripting.Experienced in a fast-paced Agile environment.Solid understanding of QA best practices and Agile testing techniques and concepts.Positive attitude and agile mindset.Team player with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.You will be highly regarded if you have experience in:Solid understanding of DevOps practices and experience in CI tools.Experience in cloud-based services such as Azure or AWS.Some experience in non-functional testing, such as performance testing tools.It would be desirable to have some experience in the financial industry and/or FinTech products.Working at hummgroupWe embrace flexible working arrangements, ensuring a genuine work-life balance and a fun, vibrant inclusive culture that embraces diverse perspectives and values the unique contributions of each of our team through our behaviours: Leadership - Accountability - Collaboration - Commerciality.We invite candidates of all gender expressions, ethnicities, ages, and other culturally diverse groups to apply.
