Anglicare Central Queensland Limited | Emerald$106,000 p/a + superannuation + salary sacrificeFull-time - Fixed-term positionWe are currently seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our vibrant team at headspace Emerald.
Our Clinician will conduct clinical assessments and provide care plans for mental health-related issues for headspace Emerald young people.What will a typical day look like?Promote and adhere to youth-friendly practice principles.Monitor and conduct young people's focused clinical assessments on headspace Emerald's young people and ascertain care plans of required needs.Deliver evidence-based early/brief intervention therapy, including group interventions and problem-solving with young people and their families.Work collaboratively with the young person and their families to develop individual treatment plans that are person-centred and directed by the young person as much as possible.Provide an inclusive practice that values the significance of family and friends in a young person's life.Mandatory Requirements:Approved tertiary level qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology, mental health nursing, and/or occupational therapy.AASW Mental Health Accreditation.Registration or membership with APHRA or AASW.Who we are:Our truly local team of professionals have worked with people in Central Queensland for over 40 years to support them in living their best life.
