Unified Communications Engineer

We are looking for a Unified Communications Engineer to join our growing team in Melbourne.
About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to join our dynamic Collaboration team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Office 365, particularly Microsoft Teams, and possess strong SIP/VoIP skills.
Experience with contact centre solutions and Audio-Visual (AV) systems are desirable.
The successful candidate should be analytical, possess excellent soft skills, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
The role also requires onsite support to customers.
The primary functions of this role are:
The delivery of support services to customers for all manner of unified communications related issues.
Assistance in the implementation of new customer solutions either hosted or on premise.
Systems Administration and support of our internal technical infrastructure comprising all hardware & software to optimise performance, uptime and responsiveness.
Contributing to innovations and thought leadership as part of our team to promote ongoing improvements in processes, technology and service delivery.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provision of unified communications support services to all customers across: Hosted Services Pro-active maintenance of network & telephony infrastructure following best practices Work with tech leads in the event of any critical outages or system failures Management of backups and restoration including assisting with DR / BCP plans and DR testing Identify processes and systems improvements to enhance the support and Service Desk services Run technical workshops for internal team Support and troubleshoot AV issues Assist with the requirements gathering process for new customer implementations Contribute to Functional Specifications, Test Plans, As-built Documentation and handover to support Assist with coordination & deployment of end-user devices Build and configure hosted/on-prem UC solutions Facilitate test & acceptance process and post-implementation support Assist in the setup and maintenance of AV systems in conference rooms and meeting spaces.

You will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and will have exposure to the following skills, knowledge & experience:
Demonstrable ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions and issues.
Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or higher that is highly relevant ideally 2 years of relevant employment experience.
Willingness and ability to work cohesively and cooperatively as part of a team Strong analytical & problem-solving ability with good judgement in decision making.
Willingness & ability to complete your responsibilities with minimal supervision & high degree of autonomy Responsive in attending to requests from executives for organisation of tasks & projects.
Demonstrated ability to be efficient, punctual and organised in work practices.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of our business' core technologies, and their applications including: SIP, SBCs and voice codecs Call flow design Microsoft Office 365 administration Microsoft Teams calling & meetings administration #J-18808-Ljbffr
