We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.Data Analyst - Antimicrobial Stewardship ProjectFixed Term - 12 monthsFull Time at 76 hrs per f/nGrade 5 Administrator (HS5)Alfred LocationDepartmentThe Epidemiology and Data Management Unit provides important data support to the Department of Infectious Diseases. The Unit consists of a team of data officers, analysts and a Unit Manager. The team provides a broad range of data products including data extracts, reports and analytics tools (such as dashboarding) for the clinical service, research projects and epidemiology activities of the Department.Position SummaryThis position will involve working within the Infectious Diseases Unit Data Management team supporting the Infectious Diseases Unit data requirements including Infection Prevention and the Victorian HIV Service. You will provide supervision, direction and support to the data clerks with the Manager and work closely with key clinicians and researchers to address and respond to their data collection and data needs. You will be responsible for data collection and management, database development, research and associated statistical analysis of information and involvement in quality assurance within the unit. The position will work under the direction of the Manager EDMS and Antimicrobial Stewardship Program to focus on the development of a clinical dashboard to support the AMS Program clinical and auditing work and reporting requirements.
