About the roleAs Procurement Lead at Sovereign Cloud Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic procurement initiatives.
This full-time position is based in Brisbane, QLD 4000, and will see you overseeing all aspects of the procurement process to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the business.
What you'll be doing Developing and implementing robust procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectivesNegotiating and managing supplier contracts to secure the best possible terms and conditionsAnalysing market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsCollaborating cross-functionally to understand the procurement needs of various business unitsStreamlining procurement workflows and implementing effective control measures to enhance efficiencyIdentifying and onboarding new suppliers to diversify the company's vendor baseMonitoring and reporting on key procurement metrics to support informed decision-makingEnsuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and proceduresWhat we're looking for Significant experience (8+ years) in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the accounting or financial services industryProven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategiesStrong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favourable terms and conditionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunitiesProficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis toolsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organisationRelevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related fieldWhat we offerAt Sovereign Cloud Australia Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
