Psychologist / Rehabilitation Counsellor / Social Worker IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.
Our care is tailored to each individual through workplace rehabilitation, counselling, injury prevention, or finding new employment.
We work with clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them live life to its fullest potential.
Our team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Rehabilitation Counsellors.

Job Description We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Social Work interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Darwin NT.
The role is available for both part-time and full-time positions.

In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day with the support of a close team of driven healthcare professionals.
You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your duties will include: Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants; Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes; Collaborating with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs; Working with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals; Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes; Completing various assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to support treatment plans and identify suitable employment opportunities.
Qualifications You'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities: A qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling with registration from AHPRA, ASORC, or AASW; Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded; Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders; Compassion, kindness, and empathy; Strong time management skills; A current valid Driver's License and access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.
