Bushmans Group is Australia's leading manufacturer and distributor of water and industrial tanks into the household, agricultural and industrial sectors across eastern and central Australia for over 34 years.
As one of Australia's leading water tank manufacturers, Bushmans has constantly improved and developed its products and services to meet the needs of our customers.
Our company is now looking to provide an opportunity for the right person to join their team in a State Manager position at our Cavan manufacturing and distribution operation.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Executive General Manager.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage the state sales, administration, production and delivery teams to ensure budgets are met, customer service levels are exceeded, quality products are made, efficiency is improved, and staff are safe and satisfied.
Review and act on the state's performance data (financial, sales, production, delivery, and activity reports) to ensure targets are met.
Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and implemented.
Ensure the quality of all products are within specification and that the service levels to all customers are the best in the market.
Lead the implementation of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) system in the state and ensure all staff follow the company's WHS policies and procedures and operate in a safe way.
Key Requirements:
Financial experience in managing a profit and loss operating unit.
Experience in managing a diverse range of staff operating in sales and operations.
A proactive and empathetic leadership style, capable of building a cohesive, inclusive and high performing environment.
Previous relevant experience in a management role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Personal Attributes:
A high level of emotional intelligence.
Capable of making timely and informed decisions.
Professional presentation and excellent relationship building skills.
To have initiative and the ability to take responsibility for the delivery of outcomes against key targets.
The ability to quickly adapt to new challenges, embrace innovation, and lead their team through transitions smoothly.
