Job DetailsResponsibilities:Perform routine maintenance tasksAssists Level 1 to Level 2 infrastructure engineers in event, incident, request and change managementAssists in installing, configuring and testing infrastructure modificationsWorks with impacted areas to ensure proper communication/review of requirements and supportEvaluates technical requirements for incidents and requests to determine the impact to the infrastructure including equipment redundancy and capacity requirementsMakes recommendations to improve operational reliability and performance and participates in investigations as neededAssists team with ITSM data gathering and presentationAssists in suggesting requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenanceInvestigates alternative methods to expedite problem resolutionRecommends procedures and controls for problem resolution or creates temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implementedReviews checklists and scripts and updates as neededDocuments new or modified infrastructure solutions, modules, test activities/results and other areas such as error handlingParticipates in trainings or handover sessions needed to support infrastructureEnsures all documentation is delivered according to specified guidelinesAssists in documentation reviews and audits and also helps to update it as needed.Education:Should have an academic degree in IT or technology.
Candidate can be a recent graduate, finishing degree or have some prior work experience.
Any IT certification is an advantage.
