We provide a vehicle, uniforms, negotiable salary, great Christmas parties, flexible working arrangements, friendly admin team & more.As a more experienced plumber, you will find plenty of challenges to keep you engaged, the opportunity to upskill & have the ability to mentor younger plumbers and apprentices.Examples of work you will be required to do:Service leaking taps, toilets, showers, and sinks.Hot water system replacements.Locate and repair burst water pipes and broken sewer pipes.Be the lead plumber on larger jobs such as renovations.Carry out water main re-routing works.Perform drain unblocking and repairs.Renovations and fixture upgrades.Commercial maintenance & upgrades.About the candidate: You will be honest, trustworthy, and reliable. You will consider yourself a self-motivator with great communication skills who can work within a team and alone. You will have been in the plumbing industry for 5+ years with direct to client maintenance experience. You will have great hand skills, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, proven knowledge of plumbing relevant to the Gold Coast area, and be neatly groomed.Requirements:A QLD Manual driver's licenceA QBCC Plumber and Drainer Occupational LicenceA QLD GasWork licenceA Construction white cardA great understanding of all relevant standards, regulations, codes, and local law requirements.Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber in a leading hand roleDirect to Client interactionsOperating a high-pressure water jetter, camera, and locatorCopper fabrication and brazing up to 150mmWorking with water pumps/setsNot essential but will be considered an advantage:Solar and heat pump endorsementNSW Tradesperson licence (plumbing, drainage, gasfitting)Completing electro-acoustic leak detectionBackflow endorsementRestricted electrical licenceFamiliar with ServiceM8We are able to accommodate those who may have family commitments & need to negotiate their hours around those commitments.If this role sounds interesting to you, we would love to hear from you.
