With 800 people based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, GroupM's primary purpose is to maximize performance of WPP's media agencies by operating as leader and collaborator in trading, content creation, sports, digital, finance, proprietary tool development and other business-critical capabilities.

Marketplace
Marketplace is fundamentally responsible for leading, managing and inspiring the investment team to deliver Purple standard implementation and trading practices.
We are looking for a Group Investment Director to work with one of our biggest clients, market leaders in the FMCG space.
This role is based in Sydney.
Responsibilities
Engage with our media partners to retain rich knowledge of the media landscape and a deep understanding of core media principles and the capabilities of each media touchpoint.
Engage with internal product teams to ensure understanding of their offerings and relevance to our clients.
Confident in knowledge of media planning principles and strong ability to utilize agency and industry tools to enhance and support planned recommendations.
Able to construct and present robust Implementation plans, grounded in strategic priorities.
Brings innovation and creativity, leveraging insights from across the market.
Developing future fit, market leading Investment strategies for clients, to fuel growth for their business.
Ensure client Investment deliverables are met consistently, across all touchpoints.
Responsible for ensuring all financial and compliance processes are followed with 100% accuracy.
Responsible for the overall delivery of client trading KPI's.
Seek to find, communicate and implement improvements in all aspects of the role.
Deliver a well-informed POV in every meeting, providing innovative strategic insights.
Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives.
Help build on the agency's reputation for outstanding client service.
Build strong and enduring client relationships at a senior level.
Help to provide innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry and competitors.
Seek out ways to keep clients informed on relevant developments and changes to media landscape.
Clear understanding of the in-scope services of clients and the process for completing work above and beyond.
Review team training needs to align career plans to progression.
Responsible for training and development of all members of the team.
Responsible for overseeing workflow between all members of the team and escalating any issues.
Experience
You will have considerable career experience across major agency and channel related topics, including leveraging deep experience of application to deliver advanced client and brand outcomes.
This will be underpinned by 8 - 12 Years experience in Media Agencies or broader Media Industry using SME tools, techniques and processes.
