We sell style, comfort, durability and above all safety.Your daily responsibilities:As the Team Leader you will still be hands-on undertaking the usual day-to-day retail activites – while also taking on escalations, monitoring performance against KPI's, leadership, mentoring and training.The role will be based out of the Yatala store and provide Team Leadership support across Browns Plains, Slacks Creek and Macgregor – visiting each of the stores 1-2 times per week.You will work in a Job Share capacity to cover Monday to Friday operating hours 7am-5pm.Processing face-to-face and phone/email sales transactionsBuilding and maintaining relationships with customersStock merchandise and maintain store presentationProvide accurate information about specific products and features based on customer needs – Including upselling and cross selling where relevantProviding quotes and following up on quotesDealing with customer queries/complaints and offering solutionsProviding support for escalation of customer issuesLiaison with suppliers in relation to product trainingMonitor KPI's and performanceProvide training and mentoring of new staff – and ongoing as individuals requireYour skills and experience:Demonstrated experience within retail with a stable employment history.Experience in a leadership capacity providing training and mentoring will be HIGHLY REGARDED.Ability to work within KPI's.Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and products quickly and to be flexible.High level of communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.Enthusiastic with an excellent team and big picture focus.Positive, friendly and outcome focused.Be self-motivated and have the ability to use common sense and initiative.Hands-on "Doer" and "Finisher".
