The GoHosting Group – Finance and Administration Manager GoHosting Group is a Canberra-based technology company, encompassing multiple leading brands, including GoHosting, AUIT, and Quantum Core.
We specialize in providing high-quality hosting solutions and IT managed services to businesses and government agencies across Australia.
The GoHosting Group is looking to expand the team and is looking for a skilled Finance and Administration Manager.
Responsibilities: Accounts Payables & Receivables: Oversee the management of all incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring timely collections and payments.
Budgeting: Develop, manage, and maintain the company's annual budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for directors, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, and budget variance reports.
Insurance Management: Handle all insurance policies, ensuring coverage is appropriate and renewals are managed on time.
Team Supervision: Manage the administration team, ensuring smooth office operations and providing leadership in areas such as payroll, office supplies, and vendor management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and company policies.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations.
Vendor & Contract Management: Be involved with key suppliers and service providers, ensuring contracts are negotiated effectively.
Core Financial Skills: Financial Management: Deep understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Proven experience managing invoices, payment schedules, reconciliations, and collections.
Financial Compliance: Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards in Australia.
Forecasting & Analysis: Ability to provide financial forecasts, manage budgets, and perform variance analysis.
Insurance & Risk Management: Knowledge of managing business insurance policies and assessing risks.
Leadership & Management Skills: Team Leadership: Experience managing and leading an administration or finance team, providing mentorship and support to ensure team efficiency.
Process Improvement: Ability to streamline administrative and financial processes, driving operational efficiency.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to present financial data clearly to directors and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Technology & Industry-Specific Skills: Accounting Software Proficiency: Expertise in XERO , as well as spreadsheet tools like Excel for data analysis.
Familiarity with Hosting/IT Services: Understanding of the financial models specific to web hosting, IT managed services, and subscription-based services would be highly advantageous.
Cloud & Hosting Technology Awareness: While not mandatory, basic knowledge of the hosting or cloud service environment can help in understanding the operational nuances of the business.
Soft Skills: Attention to Detail: The ability to manage complex financial data accurately.
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and decision-making abilities to tackle financial and operational challenges.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background: Accounting or Finance Qualification: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
CPA or CA qualification would be a strong advantage.
Experience in Technology or Managed Services: Previous experience working in tech, hosting, or related industries would be beneficial but not essential.
