RAC Karri Valley Resort is located in the beautiful Southwest region of WA, approximately 3.5 hours' drive from Perth and just a short drive from Pemberton town centre.We are currently looking for a full-time Chef de Partie to live at our resort and support the Head Chef and Sous Chef at The Lakeside Restaurant.
The Lakeside Restaurant at RAC Karri Valley Resort offers not only breathtaking views of Lake Beedelup, but also a tantalising menu hand selected by our Head Chef and their team, who take pride in choosing only the best of the Great Southern Forest Food & Wine region.
This role would be ideal for a local or someone looking to relocate from Perth - accommodation is available at a reduced cost allowing the right candidate to live and work on-site.Join our close-knit team in this exciting role and work with hospitality professionals from around the world to offer an unforgettable guest stay experience to our visitors.What will you be doing?As a Chef de Partie at RAC Karri Valley Resort, you will be a key player in ensuring our food and beverage services run smoothly.
You will oversee and support our team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service, quality, and safety at our beautiful Lakeside Restaurant.In this role you will: Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, and utensils.Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of dishes.Liaise with front of house and management regarding customers and general service of kitchen operations.Supervise and train cooks and kitchen staff.Clean, sanitise, and disinfect all kitchen areas.What are we looking for in you? Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and quality standards.Highly effective verbal communication skills.Availability to work a range of hours including weekends and public holidays.Willingness to obtain a Police Clearance.What are we offering you?
