Clinical Care Manager

Clinical Care Manager - Parkwood Gardens Aged CareReporting to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and governance for the delivery of clinical and direct client care.
You will be required to have oversight and manage monitoring systems to ensure good clinical governance within the service.
This includes:
Provide Clinical expertiseLead and manage clinical and the direct care employeesDeliver innovative care and servicesMeet client care needs and required outcomes within the facilityFoster internal and external relationshipsEnsure the facility meets accreditation requirements at all timesThis role is supported locally with Clinical Nurses and Registered Nurse coverage 24/7, ensuring the facility fosters and maintains a culture of person-centred care.
Duties: Provide exceptional clinical leadership to the direct care teamPromote a culture of service delivery excellence that aims to improve the wellbeing and lifestyle of our clientsOversight and monitoring of the delivery of care and lifestyle support ensuring these services are delivered according to identified individuals' needs, monitored and evaluated in accordance with Ozcare's Business Rules and Compliance requirementsAssist in maintaining occupancy of the facilityACFI management, monitoring and associated business processesDeliver innovative care and service within budgeted parametersLiaise with Facility Manager to forward business plan and input to strategic directionsAssist to monitor staff performance and skill requirementsRole Requirements: Tertiary Qualifications in Health Science (Nursing) or Nursing QualificationsFormal relevant postgraduate qualification in management and/or business is desirableDemonstrated experience in a clinical leadership and management roleStrong understanding of the aged care industry and the clinical management requirementsCurrent registration with AHPRAIntermediate to advanced computer skills to ensure ability to use Ozcare's management and clinical systemsFirst aid and CPR certificate required within one month of commencementBe vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19Current NDIS Worker Screening CheckWelcoming All: We welcome everyone to become part of the Ozcare family regardless of belief, ethnic or social background, health and gender.
