We're looking for an ambitious and adaptable mid-weight designer with good vibes, a depth of experience in Web Design and UX and a desire to work collaboratively within a team.
You'll be plugging into an excellent culture (we've measured it) and a range of projects with bluechip clients, government agencies and startups.
As a mid-weight Designer (UX) at blueegg, you'll report to the Head of Design and collaborate with the design team to deliver impactful work that clients and users love.

Sydney What you'll be doing:
Planning and leading, and producing UX recommendations Sketching and designing wireframes / user flows based on research and established design principles Designing mid fidelity designs for usability testing Speaking with and presenting to clients and senior stakeholders, and building an understanding of their needs and motivations Testing your work with users and organising findings in Dovetail, our research repository Using research to make evidence-based design decisions Collaborating with other researchers and designers and partner agencies, including planning and facilitating workshops Experimenting with new ways of thinking, doing and designing (including new technologies and formats) About you:
2+ years' industry experience (Mandatory) A breadth of UX skills in research, design and testing As passionate about usability as you are about delightful design Able to effectively balance quality and speed Exposure to the breadth of UX skills in qualitative research, high-fidelity design and usability testing Proven ability to speak with stakeholders to elicit their objectives and ideas of how interactions and interfaces should work Proven experience as a Web/UX Designer or similar role Proven ability to communicate discoveries from research and explain the thinking behind design concepts Proven ability to think critically and strategically, and articulate the rationale behind design decisions Sufficient understanding of technology and development to estimate what is and what is not difficult to implement Portfolio of quality work on mobile, tablet and desktop Ability to demonstrate a process from research to design and testing Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, or Sketch.
Skills in sketching to visualise design concepts are a plus Good vibes and a collaborative mindset You need to be a self-starter and comfortable working autonomously, being accountable for the end-to-end execution of all user experience activities.
