The Company
They are a privately owned multi-disciplined engineering consultancy that's been operating in the Brisbane market for 25+ years and pride themselves on solid relationships with loyal clients. They have a specialized, in-house bespoke system that has been fine-tuned over the years to enable projects to be completed on time and within budget. Once you've mastered this unique system, it will allow you to concentrate on what's most essential and creative outcomes for the clients. They pride themselves on their passion for developing sustainable building services solutions from concept to completion and possess a vast portfolio of building projects, including education, healthcare, government, residential and commercial projects.
The Role
This well-respected firm is enjoying consistent growth, which has created the need to expand its Electrical Services offering and seek an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Brisbane-based operations and run the Electrical division as Team Leader. This is ideally aimed at an ambitious and driven Electrical Engineer that wants to make a difference.
The role will see you working alongside an existing team of seasoned professionals, enabling you to take your skillset and experience to the next level. If you enjoy independently managing challenging projects from inception to completion and possess the ability to foster/maintain strong relationships with Clients, then this role is definitely for you.
The Responsibilities

Carrying out Electrical Engineering assignments from project start to finish.
Ensure tasks are completed to an exceptional standard.
Commitment to carrying out work in accordance with specific Australian codes & standards, and procedures.
Manage assigned tasks to meet project needs and proactively work with other team members to ensure that project goals are met.
Ensure all interfaces are identified and managed in the execution of all projects.
Ensure costs and timeframes are effectively controlled.
Attend site inspections and client meetings.
Provide detailed designs of Electrical Services.

The Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
7+ years of experience in a Building Services environment as an Electrical Engineer.
Design & analysis of electrical, power, lighting, communications, security, and data services.
In-depth knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
Excellent communication skills, especially client-facing.
Team player and personable.
Advanced technical skills.
