We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining, and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.The roleWe are seeking to fill the most Senior Safety Leader role in our business. The position reports directly to our Director and will be responsible for helping our executive team drive our safety culture and build on our strong existing systems and procedures with the aim of zero harm across our operations. Located in our West Perth office with regular site travel, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of health, safety, environmental, and training initiatives. This includes overseeing our site-based HSE professionals, setting annual HSE goals, monitoring performance to identify trends, and implementing ongoing improvement programs.To be successful in this role you will require the following:Diploma in OHS or equivalent tertiary qualificationMinimum 5 years experience working in a senior HSE leadership role, ideally within the mining industryStrong understanding and application of legislative and regulatory requirements (Mining)High level awareness and understanding of injury management processes and workers compensation legislationTrack record of working with senior management and implementing HSE management plans to support the organisations HSE goalsAbility to prepare HSE reports & other documentation for managementDemonstrated ability to lead, influence and build effective relationships at all levelsExperience with coordinating risk assessment workshops to ensure project and risk alignmentAbility to lead incident reporting and evidence gatheringTrack record of developing safety audit standards and safety training programsAbility to ensure team review compliance of day-to-day tasks ensuring alignment with activity risk assessmentAbility to establish a company culture of safety firstExperience with mobile plant operations in a construction and operational environmentCurrent C Class driver's licencePreferred, although not essentialFirst Aid or Senior First Aid CertificateCert IV in Training & AssessingConstruction White CardWhat we ask of our peopleAct in an open and respectful manner to our clients and our peopleSeek opportunity in all we can do and endeavour for continual improvement striving for positive outcomes for our client and peopleFocus on solutions that provide a sustainable outcome in all we doAdhere to project rules and requirementsAttention to detailAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, as well as a drug and alcohol screenWhat we offer:Excellent remunerationFulltime permanent work opportunitiesSafety oriented work environmentBenefitsFrequent flyer pointsSalary packaging optionsRefer-A-Friend program, earn up to $6K per referralOngoing career development opportunitiesFortnightly pay cycleExcellent camp with a wide range of great facilities.How to ApplyIf you're interested in this role, or would like more information, click Apply Now or email ****** for more information.
