FIFO - HSE Manager role - Project based on a 2&1 roster.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager to join our growing team.
Jagcor is a multi-disciplined and progressive construction services company with active operations across Australia.
The main focus of Jagcor is delivering quality civil construction projects to the mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.

Prioritisation of Safety: Over the past 10 years Jagcor has maintained an exceptional health and safety record (zero LTIs), but more importantly continues to invest into systems and personnel to ensure that this ZERO harm environment and track record is not compromised.
The Role will report directly to the General Manager.
You will play an integral part in monitoring, training and improving the health, safety and environmental aspects within the Company's operations.
A key focus of this role will also be to drive and support Jagcor's positive safety culture in addition to ensuring compliance is maintained.
Managing resources for HSE coverage at head office and projects.
Coordinate and lead all HSE auditing requirements including accreditations.
Implementation of all Jagcor policies and procedures.
Manage production and distribution of all HSE reporting obligations.
The Person we are seeking will be a dynamic self-starter, with strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to motivate and drive a positive safety culture within the Company as well as contribute to the team in a positive and proactive manner.
You must also demonstrate a proven work ethic, be a team player and must also pass a Pre Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol test and complete a national police check.

The person will also possess the following:
Experience in a similar senior role in the Civil FRP construction FIFO / DIDO industry is desirable Tertiary Qualification in WHS as a minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to develop a rapport and influence Experience with Incident Investigations using ICAM and 5 why An understanding and a working knowledge of WHS practices, standards, codes, Act and regulations Provide WHS guidance and advice to site staff Report to the Project Managers and General Manager in all safety related items and reports Competent with Microsoft Office and other software packages Excellent problem-solving skills and high level of attention and detail Construction White Card Key responsibilities include:
Monitor corporate governance and legal requirements Participating in the control of identified hazards where appropriate Lead role in managing the investigation of incidents Participate in safety inspection processes Actively participate in mentoring and coaching of personnel to establish a sustained safety culture Assist operational personnel with the development of Safe Working Procedures (SWP) Prepare and monitor Job Hazard Analysis and SWMS documentation for projects Develop, review and maintain project specific HSEMP and CRAWS Monitor internal and site-specific safety policies and controls Carry out site daily, weekly KPI's and safety audits The Benefits
