Contract Administrator
Full-time Permanent Details : Infrastructure Canberra is responsible for the planning and delivery of light rail infrastructure for the people of Canberra.
A dedicated light rail team within the directorate, led by the Light Rail Executive Group Manager, Infrastructure, progresses light rail development activities on behalf of the ACT Government.
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to provide high-level contract management and administrative activities, ensuring contractual obligation and compliance for the Infrastructure Branch.
Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of contracts in accordance with established policies and procedures, including effective and efficient administration of key contractual processes.
The Contracts Administrator will support the Commercial team in processing progress claims, variations, and contract disputes in accordance with contractual requirements and assist in resolving disputes.
The role requires an ability to prioritise while supporting a diverse team with variable requirements.
The successful candidate will have a high level of independence and impartiality.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in fields such as business, commerce, law, or related discipline or relevant experience.
Experience working with document management systems such as ACONEX.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, a combination of working from home, designated office-based, and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, and flexible start and finish times.
Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW).
Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
