Our client is searching for a Data Technical Specialist with a strong background in data profiling, lineage, and classification, combined with excellent technical problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-depth data analysis, mapping, and governance, collaborating closely with stakeholders to support their data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities As a Data Technical Specialist , you will:
Analyze and Gather Requirements : Work closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Data Mapping and Transformation : Develop and implement mappings between source and target systems, ensuring smooth and accurate data flow.
Data Profiling and Lineage : Conduct in-depth profiling and lineage tracking to maintain robust data governance and integrity.
Support Data Modeling : Collaborate with data modelers to develop logical and physical data models, leveraging your expertise in modeling concepts.
Ensure Data Quality : Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues, providing detailed root cause analysis.
Governance Oversight : Actively contribute to data governance processes, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Facilitate discussions, workshops, and meetings to align on business needs and priorities.
Essential Skills and Experience Our client is looking for a candidate with:
Strong expertise in Data Profiling , Data Lineage , Data Mapping , and Data Classification .
Proven experience preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and mapping documents.
A solid understanding of Data Transformation logic in a Data Lake environment.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts , such as SCD Type 1 & 2 tables and various database models.
Familiarity with data governance processes .
Desired Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills will set you apart:
Basic knowledge of Big Data technologies, including Hive and the Hadoop Ecosystem .
Prior experience in the banking domain is highly desirable.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
