Safety & Wellbeing CoordinatorFull Time SalaryVillage Roadshow Studios, Oxenford Gold CoastThe opportunity:At Village Roadshow Studios, safety is paramount The Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety plans and strategies, ensuring compliance with OHS standards and legislation.Your day to day:Develop, implement and manage OHS policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standardsManage OHS audits to ensure the workplace is compliant, while also identifying and cultivating opportunities for continuous improvementSupport injury management and activities and manage Works Compensation claims and associated processesIdentify OHS training needs and implement and deliver training programs as requiredCoordinate Studios Safety Committee Meetings by developing yearly schedules and comprehensive meeting agendaUpdate all Studios OHS documentation, ensuring compliance and up to date recordsOversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of an internal health and wellbeing program for staffLiaise with production OHS departments to ensure Studios Operations Manual is adhered to and complete regular safety checks in and around stages for insurance purposesCoordinate smoke isolation permits from production, including processes, procedures, and training with specific teamsUndertake any OHS related tasks or projects as required from time to timeWhat you'll bring:Cert IV in Workplace Health and SafetyKnowledge and experience in OHS, risk management and change management processes and practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and rehabilitation management softwareExcellent communication is essentialAbout the PerksUnlimited free entry to our amazing theme parksEarn complimentary passes for family and friendsEnjoy discounts on food & beverage, retail and animal experiencesEnjoy a wide variety of discounts throughout our properties and access to our Village Employee Benefits App which is partnered with more than 65 major retailersExclusive and unique team member events and awardsReward and Recognition incentives and prizesOn site Wellbeing Team and access to our EAP with 24/7 supportOpportunity for professional development & internal training, we strive to grow our talentApplications Close: 31 October 2024 at 11:55pmAdvertised: 10 Oct 2024 E.
