We seek a passionate and driven professional to join our growing team as an Early Development Planning and Mentorship SpecialistWho is Spring Forward?Spring Forward is a holistic early development centre that is focused on supporting and empowering children and families through early childhood.
In Australia, 1 in 5 children who commence kindergarten are developmentally vulnerable, and 1 in 10 parents lack confidence in their skills and ability in their role as their child's first teacher.
It was statistics just like this that brought Spring Forward to life and motivated us to pioneer positive, lasting change in the world of early learning and development.About the role:As an Early Development Planning and Mentorship Specialist you will be responsible for conducting preliminary assessments, presenting your observations and findings to a multidisciplinary team of professionals, and working cooperatively to develop a plan that will support the child to meet early development goals based on the developmental snapshot you captured in your initial assessment.
You will then play an integral role in the plan's implementation through leading both 1:1 and group-based sessions.Core duties and responsibilities:Run preliminary assessmentsAssist in the early stages of program developmentMonitor and promote engagement in early development programsSet up Theratrak home programsDevelop online do-it-at-home programs and coursesAssist with responses to subscription platform questionsComplete 1:1 and group sessions working towards family goals, aligning with thrive plansFacilitate early development playgroupsContribute to content creation and promote engagement across social platformsQualifications and Requirements:A completed tertiary qualification in a child-related field.
Early childhood teachers and individuals who have completed pathway degrees in fields such as speech, psychology, and developmental sciences are strongly encouraged to applyA Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and CareCertificate IV in Education SupportProven experience working in child-related roles, including but not limited to teacher, educator, SLSO, or therapy assistantWe're looking for a specific kind of person at Spring Forward—someone who will continue to champion our mission and strive towards our vision hand in hand with our existing team.
