SMS Mining Services, a privately owned West Australian mining contractor founded in 2000.
We have evolved from equipment rental to encompass rental, maintenance and contract mining divisions.

Rosters Available: 10:4 roster
Role Located: Kalgoorlie, WA - Workshop.
FIFO from Perth
Earning Potential: Starting from $196k plus superannuation paid on all hours worked.
More on offer to Senior experienced HD Mechanics.
Fulltime employment including leave for all of life's planned (annual) and unplanned (personal leave) events.About the role:
Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel and petrol/gas-powered heavy equipment including trucks, buses, dozers and other earthmoving equipment.
Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using instruments that check charging and starting circuitry, batteries, ignition and ignition timing, fuel injection systems and speed control, cylinder compression, engine condition, braking efficiency, and wheel balance and alignment.
Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines that are used to power attachments such as hoists, booms, scrapers, buckets and augers.
Completing break down works, general servicing, and component change outs.
What we are looking for:
Demonstrable experience working on mobile plant equipment (MEM) Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu Mining Equipment Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
Valid HR Manual Driver's Licence.
