Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Casual/VacationLooking for a reliable and trustworthy supervisor to join our Team, flexible to work up to 5 days a week and able to commit to casual shifts that are generally - Tuesday to Saturday, with the potential to move into full-time employment.Our Logistics Team Supervisor job involves:Task Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and oversee multiple venue setups efficiently.Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in floor plan sets, inventory checks, and effective communication on equipment or furniture that needs repair.Adaptability and Flexibility: A readiness to handle rapidly changing environments, adjust to shifting schedules, and solve unexpected challenges effectively.Physical Stamina and Endurance: The role often requires physical effort, such as lifting, moving, and loading goods, necessitating stamina for repetitive tasks and extended shifts.Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is vital for collaborating with team members, customers, suppliers, and transport providers, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.The Person:Must be reliable and on time for all shiftsAbility to perform physical duties, including heavy lifting duties up to 20kgs and repetitive manual tasks safelyBe friendly, helpful, honest and have a team effort first focused attitudeTake pride in your work and attention to getting work done to a time deadlineCurrent QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, essentialCurrent Forklift Licence (advantageous)Why Join Us?Work in a dynamic, fun, and vibrant environment surrounded by the buzz of major events and racing excitement.
