Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Technical Safety Engineer to join our Brisbane team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing safety risks associated with oil and gas operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and contributing to the overall safety culture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct safety assessments, hazard analyses, and risk management studies for oil and gas projects.Develop and implement safety strategies and procedures in line with industry best practices.Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into project design and execution.Prepare safety documentation, including Safety Case reports, HAZOP studies, and safety management plans.Provide technical safety support during project planning, execution, and decommissioning phases.Conduct safety training and awareness programs for project personnel.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.Stay updated on industry trends, safety technologies, and regulatory changes.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.Minimum of 4 year's experience in technical safety engineering, specifically within the oil and gas industry.Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., AS/NZS, ISO, OHS).Proficient in safety assessment tools and methodologies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.What We Offer: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.A dynamic and inclusive work environment.Involvement in cutting-edge projects that shape the future of energy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
