Position: Japanese Speaking Strategy Coordinator at Japanese Real Estate Development Firm
Location: Sydney, NSW
Job Types: Permanent Full-time
Report to: Strategy Director-Apartment & Mixed-Use Development
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Purpose & Organisational Context: The role is responsible for delivering strategic support by performing all duties in a friendly and efficient manner, projecting at all times a professional attitude to maximize the effectiveness of our communications with internal and external customers.
This position is part of the Strategy Team within the Apartment & Mixed-Use Developments business unit of the company.
Responsibilities: Assist the Strategy Team with long-term goals for the company and related entities.Conduct organisational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and evaluate operational effectiveness.Make recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, and internal business process improvement.Ensure that project and departmental strategic goals are being met whilst adhering to approved budgets.Assist the Strategy Team and Project Teams to identify and analyse potential opportunities to grow businesses and look for opportunities to add new businesses consistent with our trusted position in the domestic market.Conduct financial analysis of opportunities including cash flow analysis, valuations, impact on earnings, balance sheet, funding sources, etc.Analyse the strategic alignment of potential investment opportunities.Translation (Japanese-English) for development project-related documents.Interpretation (Japanese-English) for internal and external meetings.Prepare presentations/documents of development projects in Japanese/English.Research and collect information and data.Make project presentations to HQ in Japanese/English with the strategy managers and director.Requirements: Translation and Interpretation of Japanese/English skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills (English/Japanese)Demonstrated organisational and time management skillsComputer literate (Microsoft Office applications)Property development business/architecture knowledge and experienceMarketing knowledge and experience in the Real Estate IndustryPlease note that due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
