CBD locationEmployer of ChoiceLeading a TeamThe RoleDay to day management of the real time post trade core operations function ensuring all tasks and checklists are completed with proper risk management and within deadlines.Ensure the team meets regulatory obligations.Lead the team providing support and direction to staff.Escalation point for issue resolution and incident management.Provide first line support of clearing and settlement systems.Manage operational or customer issues ensuring they are resolved promptly, taking responsibility for communications to internal and external stakeholders.Engage and service a diverse range of stakeholders inclusive of exchange participants, brokers, custodians, system vendors, and regulators.Provide accurate and comprehensive reporting of issues and their resolution.Lead the identification and implementation of process improvements to reduce operational risk, enhance the customer experience and develop technical change.RequirementsPrevious management experience in a fast paced deadline driven operational environment.Experience leading a customer facing team offering exceptional service.Extensive knowledge of the Australian Financial Markets and related products.Experience with exchange-traded and OTC products.Understanding of the Post Trade Environment, knowledge and awareness of post trade business processes and systems.Exposure to back office operations in Capital Markets, Bank Treasury, a Custodian or a Broking firm.Interested?
