Experienced Telstra Fibre Splicer & Technician?

Regular travel and Tool of Trade vehicle.
Under the Telstra Field Operations (TFO) contract, Downer will provide services including network asset relocations (ARCW), wideband business services (WB), facilities design and construction activities including Tele-power and building upgrades; and a continuation of the 5G mobile rollout.
These activities will be delivered across New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Downer now has an opportunity for a Telstra Fibre Splicer & Technician to join our team, servicing Northern Territory.
We are seeking someone to work from Darwin NT and regular travel will be involved in this role.
This position involves working as part of the Telstra team to effectively manage Fibre Splicing and Technical equipment installation within Telstra Network Sites.
ABOUT YOU
Relevant Telstra experience and understanding of the Telstra networks is essential
Experience with splicing, installations and fault finding
Strong proficiency in understanding Telstra drawings and NPams data
Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point and SharePoint
Ability to work autonomously and use initiative to complete tasks and goals using a common sense approach
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management and subcontractors as required
