This is a three month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover), commencing in early February 2025.
Our Corporate & Commercial (C&C) team in Sydney has approximately 25 staff members including 7 partners and 12 lawyers.

This is a fantastic hands-on corporate & commercial role that offers the opportunity to work with interesting clients across the health, aged care, disability, life sciences and community sectors.
The successful candidate will be involved in a range of matters, including: mergers and acquisitions for health, aged care and life science clients; corporate advisory, including capital raising; drafting contracts and other commercial agreements; drafting and negotiating corporate and project documents; advising on regulatory requirements, including TGA and aged care legislation; corporate and clinical governance and risk management; representing health and aged care providers before governmental investigations, commissions of inquiry and coronial inquests; and drafting privacy policies, advising on privacy complaints and serious data breaches.

About you You will ideally have the following skills and experience: at least 2 years of post-admission experience gained in a corporate and commercial law practice; a keen interest in the health and aged care sectors; a proactive nature and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
