Australian British Food Holdings Pty Ltd is a market leading sausage, burger and smallgoods manufacturer with processing facilities in WA, NSW and QLD supplying the national retailers with brands such as The British Sausage Company, Peppercorn Food Company, Roccos Butchery, Tradition Smallgoods and Caves Road Farms.
About the Role You will be HR Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing business with high standards and a positive action-oriented workplace culture.
This is a hands-on role that will see you developing and leading HR strategy for operations in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane, taking ownership of transactional HR matters and services.
You will manage payroll, coordinate recruitment and training, develop policies, frameworks and HR metrics, and support managers with day-to-day people issues.
As you would expect from a high volume manufacturing business, numbers and data are central to decision making and tracking output and quality.
Your role will be no exception, with labour ratios and other data central to managing business performance.
As a manager in the business, you will role model positive behaviours and work with business leaders to align people strategy with current and future business needs.
About You You are keen to get involved with a progressive, high performing FMCG business and bring the following:
A contemporary HR practitioner with experience in mid-sized businesses.Coaching skills and ability to partner with business operations leaders.Made a clear and positive impact on culture and business efficiency.Can interpret an EBA, work with unions and coach leaders on employee relations matters.Hands-on and flexible – from payroll queries to M&A.Relationship builder at all levels from process workers to execs.In-depth knowledge of Australian labour laws and best practice HR.Exposure to FMCG and manufacturing would be a bonus for us, but is not essential.The opportunity Australian British Food Holdings is a progressive national company that is innovative, agile and highly regarded by the national retailers and customers.
