Sign on bonus of $6,000 for this position – half when you start and half after successfully completing 6 months.
An excellent full time, permanent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Off Highway – Mining Equipment Heavy Diesel Technician to join our Field Service team supporting the MTU engine fleet onsite.
This opportunity operates on a 7/7 day shift roster and is an onsite-based role at Yarrabee mine located near Blackwater, making it an attractive and challenging opportunity for the right individual.
Responsibilities: Diverse service work including diagnosis, servicing and minor/major repairs.Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.Carry out hands-on service work in field service environments.What you will be provided with: Accommodation and meals provided (during roster).Site specific Tool of Trade Vehicle provided.Company Laptop + Mobile phone provided.About you: Experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing of mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment – in particular Diesel Engines.Practical working knowledge of the operation of appropriate machinery, tools and equipment.Current coal board medical or ability to obtain one.Current Standard 11.Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.Why choose Team Penske?
