The position is responsible for performing continuous validation and assurance of Energy Queensland's security posture through regular assessment and evaluation of cyber security measures.This role can be based at any one of our major EQL locations including Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, or Cairns.The remuneration for your new role is from $171k plus 14.75% super for a 10-day fortnight.

We are ideally looking for candidates with 5-7 years' minimum experience in Information Technology and a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a Cyber Security Compliance and/or Assurance role.
This is a new position at Energy Queensland, and you will be responsible for establishing and driving the Assurance program and framework across the organisation.
Energy sector experience is not a necessity, in fact, we would love to hear from candidates who have held similar roles in Financial Services, Health, Mining or Commerce and Industry, and/or Energy.What matters most?
