Position Overview The Federal Court of Australia is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Manager to drive and manage necessary organisational change, in response to the ongoing transformational imperatives, modernisation of processes and associated technology in use at the courts.
The role will initially work in partnership with IT and Executive leadership and be pivotal to ensuring a smooth transition so that the opportunities to optimise our service delivery model are maximised.
The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of managing organisational change in similar settings.
Duties Reporting to the Executive Director People Culture and Communications the Organisational Change Manager is responsible for leading and managing the people, process, and technology aspects of organisational change initiatives related to transformation and operations.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring successful adoption and transition to new technologies, systems, and processes within the organisation.
Responsibilities include: Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support organisational transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to build an understanding the impact of change and develop effective communication and transition plans.
Conduct change readiness assessments aligned with branch and organisational strategy, identifying risks, and opportunities.
Design and deliver change management training programs to build organisational capability and foster a culture of adaptability and collaboration.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the change process, ensuring transparency and addressing concerns or issues promptly.
Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, measuring adoption rates, and identifying areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and support to project teams and business units on change management best practices and methodologies.

Selection Criteria Proven experience in managing complex organisational change initiatives, preferably in a government setting.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges effectively.
Desirable Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational development, or a related field would be well regarded.
