You will work as an integral team member reporting directly to the Managing Director and General Manager.ABOUT THE ROLEAs Traffic Manager, you will develop and lead a team, maintain industry contacts, and drive a positive and safe work culture.Your duties will include but not be limited to:Focus on overseeing the safe and compliant delivery of traffic management services by providing direction and guidance to traffic controllers.Ensure compliance with safe work practices, company policies and procedures, legislative obligations, Traffic Management Plans, and Traffic Guidance Schemes.Reporting to the General Manager regarding traffic controllers training requirements and safety performance.Promote a positive team environment.Oversee the management of traffic fleet and equipment.Liaise with clients and traffic controllers to effectively manage and resolve issues that arise on site.Ensure traffic-related incidents are investigated, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.Ensuring all Traffic Management personnel, plant, and equipment are available to meet the requirements of the scheduled program.Site visits and audits.Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.Build relationships with new clients.ABOUT YOUTo thrive in this role, you should be organized and professional, demonstrating:Queensland Accredited Traffic Controller and Traffic Management Implementation (Essential)Minimum three years of previous experience as a Traffic Manager (Essential)Traffic Management Design TMR Licence (TMD) (preferred but not required)Working knowledge of MUTCDDemonstrated experience with the permit application process in QueenslandExcellent leadership and communication skills.Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and NearMapsCurrent Drivers licenceOur fast-paced and supportive environment will offer you lots of benefits, including a competitive salary package that includes a motor vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone.If this sounds like the right place and position for you, please apply below.
