For more information, please visitwww.ltimindtree.com*Job summary*As a developer programmer needs to perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture and thorough understanding of the software Development life cycle, ability to write well-structured, easy to maintain code.*About the role ** As a developer I will be responsible for the technical design of Pega Platform related solutions within a project or BAU maintenance release* Interacting with the Business teams for requirement specification for a software system containing complete description of the behaviour of the system to be developed and the enhancements that need to be added to the present system.* Perform build and deployment for the non-production environments during release phase.* Requirement analysis of the specification provided by the customer: Understand the specification, attend the specification walk through?given by the customer, if any clarifications or inappropriate requirement, intimate the customer and get the?spec modified.* Estimation:? After understanding the spec, estimate?the time required for development for each section considering?the complexity, dependency of those sections* Identify impacted areas:? Investigate what all area could have been impacted by the use case and share with the testing team so that they can identify the test scope* Develop the use case:? Develop the use case, do proper unit testing of the assigned task, assign the code for review, fix the review comments, complete the task within the given timeline, support the System testing team.* Fix critical issues:? The issues raised during releasing code to production are very critical and those should be fixed asap.* Ensuring quality deliverables as defined and agreed by the customers.* Ensure clear, precise, and prompt communication on issues/risks.* Adhere to and participate in project-oriented processes and its improvement.* Analyse and implement areas of project improvement to benefit customer.* Code merge management during releases.* Detail design of solution for the given set of requirements. Primary focus will be on Performance, Flexibility, Interoperability, Reliability and Testability. Discussion with various stakeholders to decide and design Application Programming Interface (API), Data model, User Interface, Configuration/Parameters and Areas likely to change.*Skills and experience ** Tertiary qualification relating to computer science or information technology discipline or equivalent experience.* Effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage with client and manage diverse teams.* Ability to enforce best practices & process to the team across the portfolio.* Good understanding of the financial services domain, especially Banking Financial Services and Insurance.* Prior Experience in managing clients on critical projects with high risks.* Skill to design and develop rules in PEGA to model structured business process flow.* Good understanding of Pega PRPC process, develop report using PEGA reporting.* Knowledge of developing Process Flow Diagrams to specify business logic Flow model.* Knowledge of Pega 8 Software / application design.* Understanding of design patterns and class structure concepts.* Pega Certifications CSA/CSSA, CPDC, CPMC Certification.* Designing Class structures, application frameworks and data models* Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer* Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs and bottlenecks* Deep understanding of design patterns and class structure concepts* Develop integration REST connectors using PEGA 8 to connect external interfaces.* Work with team to overcome technical challenges and provide POC to Client as required, perform code reviews and deploying the product to higher environments* Designing Workflow and Case Management* Design and develop rules in PEGA 8 to model structured business process flow.* Architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega Frameworks.* Perform BAU maintenance release.* Ensuring business solutions provided matches customer's technical and functional requirements.* Develop report definition using PEGA 8 reporting.* Experience of Project management practices and tools.* Experience in Waterfall/Agile methodology of project execution, to identify the best fit for the project/program.*LTIMindtree Minds Enjoy* -Family Friendly and Flexible working arrangements >Working on innovative project transformation works >Personal development to enhance your career >Rewarding curiosity and collaboration >*LTIMindtree* minds are distinguished by their superior talent and mental agility marked by extreme ownership of transformative technologies in the digital ageJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:* Referral programSchedule:* 8 hour shiftExperience:* Pegasystems: 5 years (Required)Work Authorisation:* Australia (Required)
