UGL are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team supporting a maintenance shutdown.
This will be a casual role with an expected 6-Month duration, commencing November 2024.
This role will see you play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of upcoming dust suppression project in Newman, WA.
You will be working a 5/2 roster in the Perth CBD, then a 2/1 fly-in fly-out roster once started on site, from February 2025 (approximate only).
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement effective project schedules and timelines.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems on-site.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
Lead development of QA/QC pack with support from QA/QC advisor.
About you: 5 years' experience in a similar role Have a strong mechanical engineering or project management background Proficiency in Microsoft Project Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
