We provide rewarding careers for over 500 employees in Australia and due to continued growth, we are currently seeking aConveyor Supervisor – Maintenance to fill a challenging yet rewarding role on an 8/6 roster based in Port Hedland.ABOUT THE ROLE:The successful applicant will be responsible for:The health, safety and well-being of all operational personnel within the area of authority.Driving continuous improvement in safety and the provision of quality maintenance services whilst supporting the Site Manager.Identifying and resolving potential safety issues.Planning and executing works to ensure they are completed within the scheduled time frame and taking corrective action should significant deviations occur.Leading, coaching and mentoring team members to deliver on plan and build a high performing team.Working to achieve productivity, annual revenue and profitability targets.Supervising service employees, support departments and/or sub-contractors to ensure their duties are carried out in accordance with the Business and customer objectives.Reporting issues relating to the delivery of scope of works to the relevant Area Manager.Building and maintaining positive client relationships throughout the contractual life cycle via appropriate methods such as email, telephone and face to face interactions.THE PERSON:The successful applicant will have the following key attributes:Relevant mechanical and/or belt splicing background and extensive experience in all facets of conveyor maintenance.Strong commitment to building solid and honest relationships with staff and our clients alike.A proven track record in supervision, with a strong emphasis on effective people performance management.Ability to make and plan strategic decisions that support the interests of the Company.A total commitment to maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards and systems.Excellent communication skills coupled with an enthusiastic outgoing personality as you are hosted at the client site and participate in the full operations of the site.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage paperwork and reporting requirements to meet client and Company deadlines.ESSENTIAL:The following qualifications are required:Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general comfort with technology.Customer service approach towards interacting with colleagues and clients.Understanding of Mining in WA and Customer Requirements.Highly organised and with ability to work under pressure, and broad range of skills with which to provide flexible support.English fluency.Proficiency in SAP, Notification creation, Work order creation, Stock ordering, and time confirmations.DESIRABLE:The following qualifications are preferred:5 plus years' experience in the mining and associated industry.Accredited Certification in Supervision/frontline Management.WHAT WE OFFER:We provide:Fantastic employee benefits with Samsung, hotels, fitness and wellness centres plus many moreRelocation assistance for the right candidate.Housing, utilities, and vehicle allowance or all travel expenses covered.Immediate Start Available.Competitive Remuneration.Career progression and development– REMA value their people and want them to grow and progress.Our very own RTO to encourage and keep training up to date, including supervisory courses.Generous referral bonus opportunities.
