The Waverley Christian College, Narre Warren South Campus invites expressions of interest from businesses and independent music contractors to conduct small group and private music lessons in the discipline of Violin and Viola.
Parents pay Tutors directly.
Our Music programs run during term-time only.
This role would involve instrumental tutoring for 6 - 7 hours per week, including solo, small-group lessons, and possible ensemble directing.
The ideal individual will have:suitable instrumental qualifications and experience for the roledemonstrated tutoring experience with individuals and small groupsdays of work are generally flexible subject to your other business requirements; currently, there is availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Year 5-7 Orchestra small group lessons)ability to creatively engage students 8 – 18 years oldcapacity to tutor beginners and advanced studentsexperience in preparing students for music exams and concertswillingness to work within the school timetablepassion for playing and teachingability to work within a teama Working with Children Check Card (mandatory) or VIT (optional)evidence of a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian educationAll contractors will be required to comply with the College's Child Safety Code of Conduct, Child Safety Policy, and Student Wellbeing Policy.

You will be expected to contribute proactively to a culture of child safety at the College.
